陣馬山 – Mount Jinba Extra

Download Here

Another Mount Jimba recording taken during a night hike. You can hear more from the same trip in here .

For those who aren’t familiar with Tokyo, Mount Jinba is a very popular destination for hikers, mountain lovers and families. The mountain is about 850 meters high and the trek is very easy.  As it is only an hour away from Tokyo, it makes a perfect escape day trip from the overwhelming city.

Enjoy!

  1. This is my favorite of all the recordings I’ve been listening too on your site – nicely strange and beautiful.

    This is David from Loud Loud World, thank you for your comments and likes on my site last week. I have really been enjoying your recordings as well.

    Some in particular really stand out for me:
    The sound in Underwater Rain is wonderful, remarkably similar to my Borneo plant recording in the Three Recordings;
    Sadhu Well was another nice one … a simple, elegant recording, has inspired me to make similar recordings of everyday quiet moments;
    Sing-Along was another nice one. I too wish I could identify some of these bird calls I hear – I wish there was an app or something that would help, something like Shazam for bird calls!

    I’ve been really lazy about making recordings in the past few years, but I’ve been trying to get back into it – your comments have helped!

    If you ever listen to soundcloud may I also recommend the recordings of Tim Lewis –https://soundcloud.com/timlewis77

    1. David thank you for the visit, yes I did enjoy your site as well. In regard of Sing-Along post I did find out the name of one of the bird (great-barbet), the other is still unknown. Well, I’m not a very pushy person but if you enjoyed going out recording you should do it more often ; – ).
      Thanks for the soundcloud link, I did follow him on WP but I didn’t know he was on soundcloud.
